This master bathroom was transformed into a true spa with a sauna and large walk-in shower. Pocket doors were installed to divide the spaces. Where an alcove jet tube used to be, a zero-entry, tile shower was created. The shower includes a rain shower head and hand held shower head on a bar in brushed nickel. The shower glass has a circular cut out to allow for turning on the shower without getting sprayed. The window was replaced with a glazed block glass window to let in natural light and enhance privacy. A shower bench was constructed for use inside and outside the shower. The double vanity was upgraded to a more modern white, shaker style with quartz countertop and backsplash. Undermount sinks echo the circular shape of the flush mount medicine cabinet mirrors. The vanity faucets are motion sensor for hands free use. A sauna replaced a small stand alone shower. The use of light, monochromatic color and natural light make this space feel light, bright, and airy and very calming for that true spa experience.
